The World Championship BBQ contest is over rated. You pay a fee to look at the outside of the contestant's tents and their private parties. You cannot taste the contestants food. Also you get in for free if you go between 11-1. We purchased tickets in advance on Ticketmaster and they were actually cheaper at the gate.

Disliked: BBQ contest overrated.

l Great place for sunset view. Get out and enjoy waterfront nature next to Memphis Downtown. Sometimes concerts and other activities here too
