Crowne Plaza Memphis Downtown By IHG

The stay was great. The room was good, I have no complaint with the service. The only thing I wasn'€™t satisfied with is no place was allowed for a corporate rate or AARP discounts and when I asked about it at the desk they could not do anything about it because they said you had already received your pay when I booked it. If anything can be done about it I would appreciate it very much.

Awesome hotel n staff

Liked: Lovely hotel very clean n had cosy beds. Pool lovely after a long day food good and great prices. Staff very helpful and loved the shuttle bus driver so helpful.

Liked: Pictures are alil misleading and the hotel is alil outdated but other than that the shuttle to Bill Street was good..except one of the drivers was a bit extra..anyhow the staff was extremely friendly..the price didn't match the hotel ijs

Disliked: The place is obviously in need of a more than surface level clean and maintenance. It’s falling apart but has been kept up with temporary type upkeep

It was ok.

Liked: It was really close to the convention center.
Disliked: The location relative to downtown is not great. The rooms were ok, not super comfortable. It wasn’t really worth the cost, especially when traveling with my family. I would have preferred to stay somewhere nicer but further from the convention center.

Disliked: I didn't like that I had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot

Downtown Memphis Hotel

Liked: Amber at the bar provided excellent service as we unwound with a glass of wine each night after a long day. Housekeeping staff responded to our requests for extra coffee and left the room looking clean and refreshed every day. The Hotel was convenient to the Convention Center
Disliked: I didn't realize the hotel shuttle was only for local travel and did not include airport transportation. We traveled by taxi from the airport.

Good

Liked: The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was great location and the pool and outdoors looked very nice and inviting, It was easy to get on the highway and continue our trip.
Disliked: We did not know we had to pay for parking also I paid with breakfast included but clerk told e I would have to pay for breakfast extra and I did not find out until check out that breakfast was included when the man that checked us out asked us how breakfast was! I said we did not have any because the person that checked us in said it was extra and he said she did not read the note.Needless to say we needed to get on the road and left without breakfast.
