Liked: Everything else was brilliant! The bands made the night great.
Disliked: Bouncer thought it was funny to tell me my ticket was invalid and made me panic; drinks were WAY overpriced.

Visited Academy 3. Loved it. Visible, but not overbearing security staff. Would visit again.
Liked: Great size; high stage gives good visibility but barrier is close enough to create a great atmosphere.
Disliked: If walking from New Street be aware that you need to go under a couple of subways.

Went to the O2 to watch the Hives - what a gig! Brilliant venue with an amphitheatre feel to it. Didn't matter where you were inside, you felt close to the band performing. Great sound quality and really easy to exit once the gig had finished. Fantastic!
