When we got to the hotel we realised the wrong one had been booked but the staff did what they could to book us in to the correct one. Extremely helpful, pleasant staff.

It is a decent hotel but could be better. It could be cleaner and the breakfast is very poor.
Liked: Central location; good shower.
Disliked: Breakfast very limited; room not that clean.

Good location but disappointing room

Disliked: Very worn sofa with cracked arms and unsightly finish (not what you expect from a £179 a night room only 2 teabags the fridge wasn’t on, only 1 robe and slippers for a 2 person stay

Liked: Great location so easy to walk to from the train station and easy to get a taxi in that area.Beautiful setting opposite the river with lovely restaurants next door.
Disliked: Steps to the hotel with luggage.

Decent hotel with an excellent...
Liked: The hotel was nice. The room was comfortable, the location was alright, and the staff was friendly and helpful. But because Booking.com dramatically overcharged for the room.
Disliked: Booking.com dramatically overcharged for this room. I should have checked the hotel's website first, but assumed that Booking would offer the better price. Unfortunately they charged £40 more for the room than if I had booked through the hotel. For the same price I paid on Booking, I could have booked a large, superior room on a high floor. Instead we had a tiny room on a noisy low floor.
