Pleasant accommodation. would stay again...

Liked: Friendly staff, spacious room and comfortable beds.
Disliked: Surrounding Area has a lot of roadworks in progress, not very slightly. Parking got hotel should be free.

Very good stay

Liked: Comfy bed, good location. Excellent breakfast with great staff, clean and good with social distancing.
Disliked: Reception had told me that parking was free on the same rd. We parked and got a ticket. It was free, but from 7.30p. Our ticket was at 7.20.Staff need to be clear with the parking and times.

Great stay - would def...

Liked: As everything has changed so much in the past few months, it's great to see hotels such as Crowne Plaza working so very hard to open again safely for everyone. Absolutely everything from our check in in the lobby to our rooms, then breakfast the next day was perfect - clean, friendly and efficient.
Disliked: We unfortunately chose the hottest night of the year and the aircon in both our rooms - 615 and 608 just wasn't quite able to keep up with the demands of keeping us cool enough for a comfortable sleep. Wondering whether the units might need regassing as we followed the instructions but just couldn't seem to bring the temp down.

Comfortable, friendly and welcoming.

Liked: The staff were brilliant and was more than happy to provide us with anything we needed/wanted. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The room was nice and spacious and the shower was great.
Disliked: The only thing that could?ve been better was having draft Diet Coke. It?s a lot better than usual bottled Coke. I would also be able to buy a pint of it rather than a small bottle.

Exceptional

Liked: Very good hygiene standards and social distancing measures in place. Very friendly front of house and excellent service from all staff.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We always book the Queen Club room with lounge access but obviously the relatively small lounge is closed. Instead this service is provided in the spacious downstairs foyer bar area with table service, soft drinks, coffees etc all day then alcoholic drinks from 5.30 - 7.30 pm with bags of crisps, nuts etc in place of the canapés. The buffet breakfast was replaced with a good choice of table served plated hot or cold breakfast items. Good attention to detail re Covid safety processes, access to hand sanitisers, thoughtful social distancing processes. The GM, Mark was hands on & very helpful, working alongside his staff. Gemma & Sylwia were great, very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Minor detail, my pillow was rather hard.
