Liked: Good location just minutes from New st Station and I could walk to the utilita stadium. Room was lovely and clean on the 9th floor with a nice view over the city. Price was very good. I did not have breakfast though as I like to go out for a bacon roll and a cuppa. So it’s not good value for me to pay for a full breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing really. The sofas on level 1 lounge bar could do with a clean.

Liked: The room was comfortable and I slept well.
Disliked: I accidentally left an expensive smart watch in the bedroom along with a couple of items of clothing. When I emailed reception (specifically about the watch) they confirmed all the items had been found. I then arranged for parcel collection which included an addition £20 spend to insure the return of the watch. At that point (after the package was insured) the hotel said there wasn't a watch only clothes. They did promptly return the clothes but no apologies for their error despite my sending through their original correspondence. I take full responsibility for the loss of the watch (although I am 100% certain it was left in the room) but I would have appreciated an apology after the mis-communication on their part led me into paying an insurance premium for a parcel that I wasn't able to retreive.
