Hotel at Conference Aston

perfectly comfortable

Liked: friendly welcome, cool drink of water nearby, and comfortable enough room. cute wooden keycard!
Disliked: no a/c and the room was very warm all night. also, a minor thing but the shower was very small - nice range of toiletries available though.

Ideal for a short stay

Disliked: The bed was small considering I booked a luxury room and standard double isn't and it was so uncomfortable and the pillows was so uncomfortable too, the breakfast wasn't very good standard at all , eggs was disgusting, the poached eggs just standing in hot water didn't look appetising one bit and the scrambled eggs was so dry

Value for money staff friendly...

Liked: Clean and spacious rooms easy and central to the city centre and Aston Villa where we were attending a concert
Disliked: No air conditioning in room made for uncomfortable sleeping in a warm room

Overpriced but great staff and...

Liked: The location was good and the staff were lovely.
Disliked: No water in the room, no biscuits with the tea and coffee. Also, had the worst nights sleep due to what can only be described as a resident laughing seagull which seems to live in the outdoor seated area!No shower cap - I’ve stayed in cheaper premier inns with more facilities

Ok but housekeeping ruin it

Liked: The room itself was cozyThe pillows were comfortable The location in the city centre you cannot go wrong The part around the hotel is quiet and peaceful particularly at night I felt safe there and I always do.It's the place I always choose in Birmingham as it is familiar and staff are lovely apart from a certain one in housekeeping which is another story. The complimentary water machine is a nice touch particularly on hot nights Food is amazing
Disliked: Housekeeping lady this is the second time she has tried to throw me out, the previous stay she knocks on my door a day before claiming I had to leave which got sorted but this time she knocked on the door at 9 30am when check out is at 11 harassing me to check out i said its at 11am she claims it was a reminder but hotels are not meant to do that so I will be escalating a complaint with regards to her in particular as she let's it down unfortunately. Beds could do with being more comfortable Could do with air conditioning in bedrooms.
