Liked: When I first visited the hotel I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming member of staff. Very helpful in organising a taxi for us to attend the cricket at Edgbaston. When returning to the hotel after the match we decided to have a drink at the bar and enquired about whether food was being served. We were advised food was being served on the 1st floor so proceeded to visit first floor to which we were pleasantly surprised to see the seating area . Very comfortable and again staff were very accommodating so decided to eat and the food was very good. Did not have a breakfast but would definitely return and include a breakfast

Disliked: Air con didn’t work. No fans available at reception as they had ‘given them all away already’ room was about 200 degrees as the air con when it did come on, only blew out warm air not cold. Bed only had 1 extremely soft pillow
