This could be such an amazing place. But the rooms, whilst really nice, are pricey. Bar prices really put you off. But biggest issue whilst we were there were the lifts. Three lifts for guests, two of which weren't working when we arrived. The following morning, the third lift was taken out of use, leaving guests to either walk 5/6 floors up/down the stairs, or use the 'staff' lift; cleaners trying to use this lift, and a complete circus trying to get in/get out. I'd really love this place to put everything right, but wouldn't book again until they have. Sorry!

Liked: The rooms, the layout and 'vibe'. Restaurant/breakfast also very clean and sharp - food very tasty.
Disliked: Snack bar and main bar prices completely extortionate - £25 for a bog-standard bottle of house white being one of many examples. Biggest issue - the lifts!

Liked: The hotel is located not far from city centre. Rooms size is perfect during my stay and came back twice in a week. Would definitely come back again.

Nice hotel, good public areas,...

Liked: Public areas were very smart
Disliked: Our room was smart, but small oversights. No remote for the tv, although reception provided another on request. Bed sheet was ripped. Mini fridge only contained 1 small bottle of water. Air con was completely useless and ineffective. No opening of windows at all meaning no fresh air ventilation to compensate for poor and ineffective air con. Pillows uncomfortable.

Liked: Everything I needed. Comfortable and clean. Fridge was a bonus. Would definitely stay again. Loved walking along the canal nearby.Quiet location, yet walking distance into bullring.
Disliked: Bar drinks expensive. Breakfast cold after first half hour. They hiked the hotel prices for an event. Overall, not deal breakers.

Liked: We attended a function next door so location was excellent and there is an interconnecting door through Reception so we didn't even have to venture outside ( great, if raining)
