The Eagles concert was two and a half hours of pure, classic perfection! Glenn Frey's son, Deacon, was amazing and is a wonderful attribute to his father's legacy! Vince Gill was also fabulous as an addition to the Eagles and the talents of the original band members shall never be matched! The alarming thing about the BJCC was the very lax attitude of security! The walk through monitors at our doorway entrances were not functioning properly and we were told to just keep moving into the concert hall! Several women, including myself, even offered to open up our purses and we were told to keep moving in! One woman hired for security was commenting out loud that she guesses that Birmingham has not heard of what happened in Las Vegas and that we are an accident waiting to happen! This is not at all a situation I felt comfortable with, having my son and his friend with me - IMPROVE SECURITY!
Liked: The Eagles were outstanding!
Disliked: A few people by us were talking throughout the concert and were drunk! Also, I hope the BJCC does a much better job with security! The screening monitors messed up and the people who were supposed to be doing security monitoring just told us to keep on walking in! Several women even opened their purses to be checked, including me, and we were told to just keep on moving into the building - extremely wrong!
