Enjoyed it. Would definitely attend another event there.
Liked: Concert.
Disliked: Would like more signage in Bankers Life with directions on how to get to your seat and leaving.
Greg, South Bend Tue, 8 October 2019
Arrived for the venue; staff was helpful from start to finish, and the lady working main concourse section 16-17 was great for the extra attention, in offering my wife and I, the use of the elevator as the steps took a toll on me due to health reasons. She needs a pat on the back for a job above the call of duty.
Liked: Access was a good starting point; staff very helpful.
Disliked: No complaints.
Sabine, Charleston Tue, 8 October 2019
Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet band were awesome. Next time I would get lower level seats.
Liked: Everyone has the opportunity to see what's on stage.
Disliked: Steep upper levels; no room to move without aid.
Vickie, Indianapolis
Overall enjoyed it.
Liked: The concert.
Disliked: Railings on balcony not tall enough. Very dangerous going up and down.
Amanda, Indianapolis
Great venue. Be patient.
Liked: Great service. Ushers very helpful.
Disliked: Long line and wait through security.
Connie, Lafayette, IN
Michael W. Smith (Smitty) and Amy Grant have performed since the early 1980's - often together. We have all their albums, and we knew we'd hear many familiar songs. In fact, I sang with Smitty and a choir of 300 at Carnegie Hall a couple of years ago; so I was able to sing along with most of them (quietly, so as not to irritate anyone else). Amy just released a brand new CD, so we also heard a couple of new numbers. Our surprise for the evening was Jordan Smith - a 23-year-old from "The Voice" competition. What an incredible voice he has! We were extremely impressed with his vocal skills and unique vocal range.
Liked: Oh, my - we're huge fans of both Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant; so we knew we'd see a quality Christmas show. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra was a delightful plus; and young singer Jordan Smith (from The Voice) was a sweet surprise.
Disliked: Nothing disappointed any of the four of us who attended together.
Angie S, Fort Wayne
Will return for other games.
Liked: Everything else awesome.
Disliked: Parking was a joke.
Angie, East Peoria
I saw Joyce Meyer there. It was my first time to see her, and the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It was amazing and the field house was very nice.
Liked: I love that it was in walking distance to the mall and other awesome places to eat.
Disliked: Parking was not the best.
Sherrill, Huntington
State Wrestling meet - easy to walk to. Will attend a Pacer's game sometime.
Liked: Yes.
Dona S, Kokomo
Liked: Location is walking distance to many hotels and other available Indy night life!

America's 12th largest city has a lot to offer before and after a concert or game. Whether you're into fast cars, high culture or shopping, there's plenty to do. Here are a few places to check out:
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
If you just happen to be in Indianapolis on Memorial weekend, then why not try to get a ticket for the Indy 500? The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the largest capacity sports venue in the entire world. It is also home to the NASCAR Brickyard 400. Of course, tickets are not easy to come by so you need to get in there well in advance. Otherwise check out the Hall of Fame Museum. You can also grab a guided tour around the track on non-race days or take a tour of the grounds.
Indianapolis Museum of Art
The Indianapolis Museum of Art is one of the largest and oldest museums in the United States. It contains over 54,000 works from over 5,000 years of history spanning four continents. Admission is normally $18 for adults but if you head there on the first Thursday of the month between 4pm & 9pm you can get in for free. Access to the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, the cafe, and the museum store is free.
Circle Centre
If shopping is your thing, head down to the Circle Centre where you will find over 100 retailers including the anchor store Carson Pirie Scott. You can relax at one of the mall's eight restaurants or catch a movie at the United Artist Theater.
St Elmo's Steak House
St Elmo's is a couple of blocks from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and it has some of the best steaks you could hope to find in the city. Try out the World Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail with lots of fiery sauce. If you're going to a Pacers game, they do a pre-game special menu with filet mignon ($40), grilled salmon or amish chicken (both $30) if you show your ticket.
Scotty's Brewhouse
Comfort food is the order of the day at Scotty's Brewhouse. This is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, have a few beers and to catch up on your favorite sports before heading to the big game. Besides, the opportunity to build your own burger should never be passed up.
Eagle's Nest Restaurant
The Eagle's nest offers a 360° view of the Indianapolis downtown skyline and makes an ideal location for a romantic dinner for two. The restaurant is situated on the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency Hotel and, if the views weren't enough, the restaurant revolves too!
One great thing to know about the city is that you can get around a lot of downtown using the skywalks so you don't have to step outside if it's a bitter winter's day. You can walk from the Circle Centre Mall to your central hotel and even to the Lucas Oil Stadium without setting foot on the sidewalk.
Bankers Life Fieldhouse is in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
The arena is easily accessible from interstates 75, 60 & 465 for those arriving by car.
If you are driving, you should know that Indianapolis has a series of one-way streets, which you will need to negotiate getting into and out of the arena.
The Indianapolis Amtrak station is also just a 7 minute walk from the arena.
There is no metro system within Indianapolis so you will need to drive, take a bus or a taxi.
A beer will set you back around $8 and be warned that the concessions stands stop serving alcohol pretty early on for both concerts and game nights. A bottle of water generally costs around $4. A burger is priced at around $7 and sodas cost about $5.
Yes, there is free public WiFi at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
There is ample parking around the arena in downtown Indianapolis. There are many parking lots located within walking distance but there are no official Fieldhouse operated parking lots.
You can park within a couple of blocks of the arena for as little as $5. A few steps from the arena, parking in covered lots is available for around $10. You can even park at a meter for $1.75 per hour, which is only chargeable until 9pm.
Doors generally open 90 minutes prior to game time. This is usually the case for special events too.
Don't try to take any expensive camera equipment or accessories such as selfie sticks and tripods as you are likely to be turned away. This is true for game nights as well as concerts and special events.
