Loved the experience. Can't get over the parking expense. Won't stay there again for that reason alone.
Liked: Everything else.
Disliked: Paying $38 to park. Ridiculous!

Have stayed before - always good service, and great rooms. Highly recommend.

Underwhelming hotel but good location
Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. Our balcony was nice to sit on but could've used a little sprucing up.
Disliked: Rooms were a little dated but not awful. The worst though was that the air conditioning did not work and it was extremely warm in our room all night. We did call the front desk (from our phone because it wouldn't go through on the room phone) and they sent a very nice man up to"fix" it. It worked for about half an hour or so and then we were sweating the rest of the night.

AC did not work well
Disliked: The air conditioner did not cool down the room. We turned it on when we left around 6pm, came back at 11pm and the room was still warm, at that point it was too late to try and deal with changing rooms/having someone to come look at it.

Stuffy and old
Disliked: Our room was terrible. You couldn?t pull the water on for the shower. We had to call the front desk to send engineer up who showed us that u had to pull with all your might to turn it on and that it wasn?t going to come out the wall. Then you couldn?t turn it off all the way so the water leaked all night. The room stayed damp and humid from this. Then our air went out in our room. It got to 84 degrees in there. We was asked if we wanted a fan for the room. No we wanted a new room. So at 1am we had to pack up and move to a new room. We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was such a bummer.

Disliked: The room was too hot and even when turned down it never got near what it should be. Leads to not the best night of sleep. Keep rooms cold as hallways.

Wish we hadn't chosen this...
Disliked: Our whole experience was regretful and disappointing and not at all what we expected. We were driving back to Chicago from Gatlinburg and wanted a place to spend the night and break up the drive for our kids. I booked a downtown Indianapolis hotel hoping for a good experience for our oldest kid who loves cities and tall buildings. We could have (and apparently should have) stayed in another highway-side hotel along 65 for far less money, but I chose to stay downtown to make it more fun for the kids. The second we pulled up by the valet, we were propositioned for money from a guy on bicycle. He was basically sitting in the pull up area just waiting for hotel guests to pull up so he could all them for money. He seemed friendly with the valet. I was surprised the hotel allowed him to do that.Inside the room, the air conditioner was so noisy we could hardly sleep, and there were a couple occasions when I thought someone was knocking at the door but it turned out to be noise from the A/C. The alarm clock went off at 6am unexpectedly - we had not set it. So that was obviously annoying.Between finding out that parking wasn't included and the underwhelming experience in our room, we were already very eager to leave ASAP. We left annoyed, exhausted, and already regretful for staying at the Omni. Then, we received a message later that afternoon about an ADDITIONAL charge for our dog.I don't write reviews of hotels online normally (positive or negative), and honestly I usually assume the people who do leave negative reviews are spiteful or maybe just mean spirited people with too much time on their hands. But in this case, we feel like were taken for a ride and that writing a review warning others considering this hotel is clearly warranted. The staff saw very clearly that we had a dog upon check in and then charged us a pet fee after we have left with a message implying that we tried to somehow hide our dog or sneak him in.
