Sounded great on the floor and in the back platforms. Large floor kept from being overcrowded. Security was not too obnoxious. Beware of sound in the balcony and off to sides of floor.
Liked: Everything else.
Disliked: Sound in the balcony.

We paid $100 for "VIP" tickets - the only VIP bar was in the balcony in the corner. So, since we wanted to go to the floor, everytime we wanted a drink we had to go all the way back up the stairs and wait an hour in line. All of the other bars (about 6 of them) were for "general admission" customers only. When I went to one of those general admission bars to ask for a cup for water for myself and one for my brother they said they weren't in the business of "giving out cups" and wouldn't give us one. The concert hall itself was amazing and I would recommend it if you DON'T buy VIP tickets.

We had an amazing time at the Congress Theater. It is a small venue so the experience was great. It's a very old building with lots of cool features! Seriously, there are 10 bars located right off the general admission floor so it was super easy to get a drink or two ;). My only complaint is how my feet stuck to the floor. My feet actually came out of my shoes a few times. But overall a very cool venue!
Liked: I got my face rocked off!
Disliked: The floor was super sticky!

This theater was very cool, and old. Unique design, and architecture. Sound is good, but there is not much seating, so arrive early and sit in balcony and you will have a blast!
