Overall great experience. Very charming hotel with very friendly staff. It's older so there are subtle details needing some aesthetic updating. However it did not take away from a wonderful experience.

Liked: Quite charming.
Disliked: No hypo-allergenic sheets and the sheets on the bed were cheap; low thread count sheets; there was a musty smell of powder in our room.

Price was a bit high but the hotel was in a great location and the rooms were well appointed.

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Pillows were too soft.

Very good

Liked: Nice, updated, older hotel that is tucked away from the busy Michigan Ave. The room was clean and the staff was super nice.
Disliked: They offered early check-in, which we did, but we still had to wait in line at the front desk?behind all the others who didn't?to get our keys. Wasted service if there's no in-house way to optimize it.

I?ll stay again. Valet parking...

Liked: location quality of bldg and rooms
Disliked: clear emphasis on less customer interaction which spills over into all areas. Parking option was difficult to execute. Almost zero help from staff.

Cool historical building.

Liked: A nice cool room, great location, convenient parking across the street. The place was beautiful. Very nice martini bar and brunch restaurant located within the hotel. Very convenient taxi/uber drop off and pickup location.
Disliked: The pillows seemed either really worn down or were just a tad too soft. They were not dirty by any means though.
