Great venue; the city winery had great service too! Joan Osborne was wonderful!

I came into NYC for a private event at The City Winery. Hadn't travelled since COVID began, so I was nervous about all aspects of the short trip. Everyone I dealt with from cab and uber drivers to the staff of my hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, and the folks at The City Winery could not have been nicer. A really classy experience.
Liked: The ambience, food, and of course, wine selection was lovely. Staff was courteous and efficient, anticipating your needs.
Disliked: It was a little further from my hotel than I anticipated, but I had a great Uber driver to get me to the event and get me back to my hotel afterwards.

City Winery has it all together. You can go for a show, and there are so many to choose from, and schedule a delicious dinner at the same table. We come back again and again, and enjoy ourselves every time.
Liked: One stop shop; food; bar; music.
Disliked: It is not a super great value.

We felt very well served by the excellent food and attentive wait staff. It would have been helpful for there to have been a greeter to direct people to the food in the service area since the entrance got sort of clogged up.
Liked: We attended our nephew's wedding reception mid-August. The location is easy to get to considering it is downtown and near the Holland Tunnel entrance. The food and wait staff were excellent. I chose the seared tuna which was prepared perfectly. My family, steak lovers, raved about the flatiron steak for it's moist flavor.
Disliked: Our table location was a little cramped for our family since it was near the entrance to the kitchen entrance.
