Really happy with my stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable with simple but elegant decor. The location was very convenient, just one block from subway Q line, so easy access to uptown Manhattan (15 minute subway ride to Central Park and Times Square).

Liked: Friendly, accommodating staff. Good location. Clean and safe.

Passable

Liked: The staff was absolutely delightful and the location perfect. The beds and pillows were quite comfy!
Disliked: The AC must have been programmed to go off in the middle of the night because each night when I woke up extremely warm, I looked at the thermostat and it was at 74 instead of 68 where we had set it! Other guest had the same issue… As much as we liked the location and the staff, we will not stay there again unless they remedy this problem.

Great hotel that was clean,...

Liked: The hotel was clean and beautiful inside. Great location for where we were going!
Disliked: Our room was so tight and a weird shape. We had a king bed and the dresser was so close that only one person could pass at a time. Our friends room was not like that at all.

Overall, the hotel does the...

Liked: The daily cleaning services were great. We always had new towels and a freshly made bed. The location of the hotel was also close to several metro lines which was convenient. We had free internet since I was a Marriott member.
Disliked: We wished there were better amenities. We got one water bottle and a few packets of tea and coffee for free. The coffee machine in our room dispensed warm water at best. The gym was decent but a bit small. We were placed in a room that connected to another hotel room via a short meter long hallway. The connecting guests kept going in the hallway and trying to open our room door, which was disruptive. It felt like staff did the bare minimum. For the price of what we paid, we would likely not return.

Well managed…. Well maintained…. Best...

Liked: One of the most well managed hotels we have checked in! Everywhere is clean… little details here and there that are helpful and practical. Staff are very attentive. Upper floors has the best view of Midtown Manhattan.
Disliked: The motion sensor exhaust in the bathroom was a bit too much of unnecessary noise especially in the middle of the night. But the bathroom is pristine and clean.

A really great value hotel...

Liked: I really quite liked my stay here. The rooms were a decent size for New York, plenty of room for 2 people and although they were showing a bit of wear, still absolutely fine for our 4 day stay. It was also really great value for New York.The location is excellent, perfectly located in Tribeca, plenty of cool bars and restaurants nearby and a short walk to Tribeca. The area is a little bit grungy but felt perfectly safe day and night so don't worry about that... its just New York!
