Average hotel with great staff

Liked: I stayed here for 1 night in february. Hotel is in a good location and the staff were great.
Disliked: It was incredibly noisy at night, probably no soundprpffing or even bad construction, i could hear everything, doors, people walking/talking in rooms next door, some thumping.Heating was ok, but not 100%.

Liked: free coffee/croissant and time to time fruit service at lobby is appreciated. staff is willing to help. good location.
Disliked: noisy especially during weekend coming from entertaining people outside bar/restaurants but ok if you prefer to stay in soho area

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel was modern and clearly recently renovated unlike many hotels in Manhattan. Post Covid many hotels skimp on amenities and “nickel and dime” you for every little thing. Not so here. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The staff at reception was always friendly and ready to help.Provided toiletries were useful.
Disliked: The window was losing the heat and every morning we woke up cold.The bathroom door did not close so we experienced lack of privacy. An opaque window between a shower cabin and a bedroom let all the light through so if one uses a shower at night, another one will be woken up by the light.Although the hotel staff said the location was safe, we did not feel it quite well going out within 5-10 min.Partner taxi service provided by the hotel was a disappointment. We should have better ordered Uber or official city taxi.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpful. They station the front desk late so it feels secure when we come back at 3am from a show.
Disliked: I thought the balcony type was different than what I booked, the photos were deceiving. We asked the front desk to confirm and sure enough those advertised photos are just for the penthouse suites. I regretted booking a balcony room for the extra money.
