The amphitheater is set amid the 1,500-acre sports and entertainment complex of Circuit of The Americas. If after somewhere a bit more refined, you'll need to head northwest past the airport, to Austin itself where stacks of barbecue joints, quirky bars and clubs await.
Circuit of The Americas
Life a bit slow sometimes? This place has seen some of the biggest names in racing make a colorful blur around its 3.41-mile racetrack.
McKinney Falls State Park
Journey ten miles from Austin360 Amphitheater to get some greenery - be it a hike along the winding tracks, some fishing in Onion Creek or just a picnic in the shade of a tree.
A mile and a half away:
Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill
You might not be sold by the shack-like exterior. But step through the doors and you'll find chefs serving up speciality burgers including elk, kangaroo and yak, all in a homely interior with a back yard for the summer.
In central / downtown Austin:
Iron Works BBQ
It might be kinda rude to go to Austin and not have a barbecue? If it's a lively place you're wanting, with reliably succulent meat and a salad bar, roll along to the red tin building of Iron Works, open since 1978.
Practice your spaghetti-eating technique at this bustling cafe. The Italian food is nostalgic for family dinners cooked by grandma… homemade ravioli, hearty beef and spaghetti alla carbonara slick with cream.
The amphitheater is inside Circuit of The Americas, which is based 15 miles southeast of downtown Austin. Drive along the SH 130 toll road, then exit onto Elroy Road or FM 812.
You can get a 16oz craft beer such as Goose Island Urban Wheat or Independence Austin Amber for $10. Alternatively, get in the Texan spirit with a cowboy boot mug for an extra few bucks. Water is steep at $4, but you can bring your own 20-oz, factory-sealed bottle and refill at the water fountains inside.
Standard 'I don't mind a walk' parking is included in the ticket price (lots A, H and F). Those wanting a spot closer to the action can get premium parking for $25 (lot C) - buy this in advance at the Ticketmaster event page. Lots generally open their doors an hour before the main gates.
Ride a different kind of wheels? There's a bike valet area in the back of lot C.
Normally 90 minutes beforehand but - to keep us guessing - it's sometimes 60. Check your ticket.
Concerts go ahead whatever the weather guy says. So pack your sunscreen or wet weather gear, plus a small blanket and chairs without legs.

I would definitely recommend catching a show here at this venue. The place was superb. Lots of room. Not overcrowded. They had multiple vendors and plenty to drink. The sound was great!

Disliked: I did not have anything to complain about at all.
It was awesome; sound was great; even lawn seats seemed close.

Really bad service as well!
Disliked: Why were there no beer dudes walking around where the seats are! Should have had them like at a baseball game, up and down selling beer!

Overall it was a great experience; a great concert - I was very pleased and will definitely come back for other concerts.
Liked: Great experience; a shuttle picked us up from the parking lot and took us to the very front of the amphitheater and same thing once it was over it, took us back to the parking lot. Great service and great people working, very helpful.
