Located in the hills of Glen Helen Regional Park, the amphitheater is a few miles' drive from the nearby city of San Bernardino. Here you can find a smattering of decent cafes but it's probably better to leave your tux and dancing shoes at home.
Glen Helen Regional Park
Outdoor lovers can enjoy a countryside romp across the 1,340 acres of this regional park. Several picnic areas complement sandwiches with spectacular views; afterwards visitors can cool off in the swimming pool which has dual water slides or find the two fishing lakes. The entrance fee is $8-10 per vehicle.
Glen Helen Raceway
Perched against a mountainside, this raceway sees crowds roar as motor-crossers speed around 256 acres. Several major events are held annually so check out the upcoming line-up.
Joseph Filippi Winery
The Filippi family has been serving up fine wines since 1922. Care for a tipple? Award-winning vintages include the 2009 Petite Sirah Cucamonga Valley, available to taste at daily sessions at $5.00 for 5 tastes.
Chef Cindy's Cafe
This spot just north of the amphitheater is a handy, laidback place for some breakfast or lunch. Creative takes on American classics include orange-stuffed French waffles and tuna salad with tomatoes, cheese and fresh fruit.
Le Rendez-Vous Cafe
It's not just French cooking served up here. It's a little charm of yesteryear. The menu sets mouths watering with dishes like mussels provencale, cajun popcorn shrimp and grilled filet mignon; found in the area of Colton, 7.5 miles away.
Although 17 miles south of the concert venue, Brothers Pizza lures diners with its dough made fresh every day and generous toppings like barbeque chicken and avocado delight with jalapenos and chorizo.
In need of a quick pre- or post-concert snack? Order ahead for Mexican food to-go. Based near to Glen Helen Amphitheater hotels, the eatery is an easy choice for hand-dipped rellenos and the signature garbage burrito.
If driving from Los Angeles, take the 10 Freeway east past Ontario airport, then the 15 Freeway north. You'll see signs for the amphitheater after about ten miles.
Public transport your thing? Take the shuttle bus.
Predictably pricey. You can expect to pay $15 for a large premium beer, $7.50 for a cheeseburger and $5.50 for nachos.
Most of the time, parking is included in the price of the ticket. If not, it'll be $10 for general and $20 for VIP parking. ADA parking is available in the West Lot.
Small lawn chairs, blankets and towels get the thumbs-up for most shows. Remember that the outdoor amphitheater can provide little shade in the hot summer months, so keep sipping that water.

This was the first and last time I'll attend this venue.
Disliked: Getting to parking from freeway off ramp took over an hour. Then it took almost an hour to clear the security. Missed the first and half of second opening act.

Had a great time but the heat and walk from the car to the gates was rough!

Had a lot of fun here except that there was a miscommunication where lost and found was. We were able to get the lost item back but had to return for it the next day.
Liked: Lots of fun; big area.
Disliked: Staff didn't know where anything was.

Great place to watch a concert.
Liked: Free parking and quick and easy to exit.
Disliked: For the lawn seating most size chairs should be allowed and the concession stands were long.

Liked: Great event! Didn't have to pay for parking so it made up for the wait.

Our first time ever at this venue to see Mumford & Sons and we were super excited about it. We loved the grounds and for an outdoor venue, there were plenty of food options. However, with that being said, we will NEVER return based on getting out of this place. It took us more than 1hr 30mins, just to get to the exit from our $20 "VIP" parking. I understand there are thousands of people leaving but when you have people that you know who parked in free GA and were out and on the road hours before you, that's pretty sad. Others had commented on an issue with getting "in" and "out" but getting in was a breeze! - "Give us $20; park there". There is NO exaggeration at all when I say/write that we got in our vehicle at 10:15ish (right after it ended, pulled forward say 5-6ft behind the next vehicle and NEVER MOVED EVEN ONE-INCH. We had to shut down the engine and, as I previously mentioned, didn't move again for more than 1hr 30mins. TRUTH IS, we would not have gotten out when we did if it weren't for seeing a line of 5 cars going up the back hill to a fence that someone took upon themselves to take down so they could get out! Needless to say, it made for a much later arrival home to Vegas. Also, the website (and people you talk to when calling in) states what you can and can't take in. Apparently, this must be on a case-by-case basis. If not for seeing the most amazing band ever, this trip would've been a complete disaster. M&S was our saving grace!
Liked: Nice grounds.
Disliked: Getting "OUT" of this place.

Overall it was a good experience. Hopefully there is no confusion the next time with the items we can take in.
Disliked: We kept receiving the wrong information as far as what the public was able to take inside.

We got there early to avoid all the traffic parking and paid the $20 for VIP parking - that was great. I love the venue. I can't imagine there being a bad seat in the whole place. Even the lawn looked like they had a great view. The only issue was leaving after the concert. It took us an hour before we could even think about leaving, which is actually OK - gives everyone time to sober up before getting on the road :) I didn't mind hanging out and waiting for the line to die down. Love it there!
Liked: Awesome outside venue.
Disliked: One lane in and out.
