Located in the hills of Glen Helen Regional Park, the amphitheater is a few miles' drive from the nearby city of San Bernardino. Here you can find a smattering of decent cafes but it's probably better to leave your tux and dancing shoes at home.
Glen Helen Regional Park
Outdoor lovers can enjoy a countryside romp across the 1,340 acres of this regional park. Several picnic areas complement sandwiches with spectacular views; afterwards visitors can cool off in the swimming pool which has dual water slides or find the two fishing lakes. The entrance fee is $8-10 per vehicle.
Glen Helen Raceway
Perched against a mountainside, this raceway sees crowds roar as motor-crossers speed around 256 acres. Several major events are held annually so check out the upcoming line-up.
Joseph Filippi Winery
The Filippi family has been serving up fine wines since 1922. Care for a tipple? Award-winning vintages include the 2009 Petite Sirah Cucamonga Valley, available to taste at daily sessions at $5.00 for 5 tastes.
Chef Cindy's Cafe
This spot just north of the amphitheater is a handy, laidback place for some breakfast or lunch. Creative takes on American classics include orange-stuffed French waffles and tuna salad with tomatoes, cheese and fresh fruit.
Le Rendez-Vous Cafe
It's not just French cooking served up here. It's a little charm of yesteryear. The menu sets mouths watering with dishes like mussels provencale, cajun popcorn shrimp and grilled filet mignon; found in the area of Colton, 7.5 miles away.
Although 17 miles south of the concert venue, Brothers Pizza lures diners with its dough made fresh every day and generous toppings like barbeque chicken and avocado delight with jalapenos and chorizo.
In need of a quick pre- or post-concert snack? Order ahead for Mexican food to-go. Based near to Glen Helen Amphitheater hotels, the eatery is an easy choice for hand-dipped rellenos and the signature garbage burrito.
If driving from Los Angeles, take the 10 Freeway east past Ontario airport, then the 15 Freeway north. You'll see signs for the amphitheater after about ten miles.
Public transport your thing? Take the shuttle bus.
Predictably pricey. You can expect to pay $15 for a large premium beer, $7.50 for a cheeseburger and $5.50 for nachos.
Most of the time, parking is included in the price of the ticket. If not, it'll be $10 for general and $20 for VIP parking. ADA parking is available in the West Lot.
Small lawn chairs, blankets and towels get the thumbs-up for most shows. Remember that the outdoor amphitheater can provide little shade in the hot summer months, so keep sipping that water.
This venue is ranked #1 of 1 venue in Rialto

Paid extra for VIP parking, and fast lane access which were both very slow if not like a standard line and parking. Apparently, no management controlling anything at this site. No parking or internal seating management.
Disliked: VIP parking contested - no management present; overpriced drinks; no usher seating control.
The place was easy to find; each set had great sound and it seemed like every seat in the joint was great - I know mine were!
Liked: The whole show was bad ass! The old farts still got it! They don't even gotta call it quits, they've got it together so well!
Disliked: Not a thing.

This was the first and last time I'll attend this venue.
Disliked: Getting to parking from freeway off ramp took over an hour. Then it took almost an hour to clear the security. Missed the first and half of second opening act.

Had a great time but the heat and walk from the car to the gates was rough!
Liked: All the bands!
Disliked: The walk from parking to the gates,

Had a lot of fun here except that there was a miscommunication where lost and found was. We were able to get the lost item back but had to return for it the next day.
Liked: Lots of fun; big area.
Disliked: Staff didn't know where anything was.

Great place to watch a concert.
Liked: Free parking and quick and easy to exit.
Disliked: For the lawn seating most size chairs should be allowed and the concession stands were long.

Liked: Great event! Didn't have to pay for parking so it made up for the wait.
Charlotte, El Cajon
