The $27.95 entry fee includes access to the Australian-themed play area for any kids in tow.

Gasparilla Pirate Festival

It's fair to say that Tampa embraces its history of pirates with many themed events. The biggest is perhaps the Gasparilla festival which stages a mock pirate invasion in late January or early February each year. Expect an invasion flotilla led by a pirate ship and over 400,000 attendees, many making bad pirate jokes.

This sports bar celebrates southern culture in the best way possible: classic home cooking. Chicken-fried steak, beef brisket and meat loaf. Relax in the casual setting surrounded by stacks of football memorabilia.

La Teresita

La Teresita draws the crowds with its Spanish and Cuban favorites, all served up within a five-minute stroll from hotels near Raymond James Stadium. Tuck into the Spanish beef stew, fried plantain chips and other dishes muy deliciosos.

Serving of nostalgia, perhaps? This old-school dinner completes its film-like image with red stools for counter service and cozy booths. It's more than the novelty value of the menu, though, with many locals dropping by for the roast beef sandwiches, country fried steak in gravy and breakfasts, too.

Rick's on the River

If this bar was a guy he'd be laidback, he'd be cool. He'd be serving up fresh oysters and often humming some tunes for you. Yep, it's Rick's on the River, complete with relaxing views and a regular lineup of live music.

Stadium Green Iguana

Down the street from the stadium, this Tampa Bay Area institution is a popular hangout for pre- and post-games. Beer is served in a goblet (well, duh) and signature drinks include the bar's famous margarita made with Sauza Gold Tequila. Some nights have live music so look out for the blues jam and Latin evenings.

My wife and I went to see the Brothers of the Sun Concert. This was one of my best concerts ever, and I have been to over 100+. The tour of the stadium was excellent, especially being able to tour the Pirate Ship. Thank you for the great experience.

Liked: Great stadium.

Had a great time at the concert. I have been to MANY stadiums and this has been my favorite so far. I can't wait to go back for a football game! We also booked our hotel through you at The Ramada and had a great experience there as well. The staff were very nice & the room was very clean. I will use this website again.

The prices were a little high in my opinion but we had a great experience. We had also booked a Hotel on your website for the Days Inn which were terrible & will never stay there again.

Liked: Awesome concerts
Disliked: Beverage prices were high

Poor - 1 out of 5

, Jacksonville Mon, 21 March 2011

My friend suffered a severe panic attack after the concert and the police as well as most of the stadium staff could NOT have been less helpful. In fact one officer went as far as to say that "it was not his problem, he had been on his feet for 12 hours and we had to leave" This was all being said as my friend was on her knees hyper ventalating. The EMT's were not helpful either. If I had that police officers name and badge number I would have most definitely filed a formal complaint.

Liked: The concert was very good
Disliked: The worst treatment EVER
