Liked: The staff were all really friendly and helpful, they are having a refurbishment however this did not affect our stay in any way.

Perfect stay when traveling through...

Liked: We had an overnight stay to be close to TPA for a morning flight.Room was very comfortable and perfect size for two people.Breakfast was great with all the fixings.Restaurants and shops are withing walking distance.
Disliked: There was construction around the building and in the parking lot which made it tricky for parkingDidn't get to fully appreciate the beauty of the setting and building since it had a fence around the front entrance with no access. It was an inconvenience, not critical to our stay and I am sure that was temporary and is not usually a problem.

Welcome to Tampa

Liked: The location and the room was great,
Disliked: However the place is going through a TOTAL renovation and as such there were a few minor inconveniences. Workers were on site and the front entrance is NOT available. There were a multitude of trailers loaded with tools and equipment to facilitate the renovations and the elevators were also being used by the workers which slowed down the use of elevators due to the workers need for the elevator.

Disliked: Did not find out the hotel was being renovated until after we booked. We went to swim and there was debris loaded all in the pool from the renovations. The pool guy tried to clean it but gave up and left. We had to enter through the rear entrance. There was plastic and stuff draped all around. We should have at least gotten a discount for the poor conditions. Even when we went to leave, we were blocked in by a large construction vehicle. Very disappointing.
