Very cool hotel. A converted federal courthouse. The whole place is quite eccentric. The rooms are quite small. They are very dimly lit, even with all of the lights on. The windows open to high rises and busy streets so zero privacy with the curtains open. My window overlooked the valet parking guys. I had to keep the curtains shut because of all of the people which made the room very dark. Front desk staff was super cool and helpful to me. Restaurant service was kind of slow but the food was great. Room service - same.

Disliked: The only thing luxury about the hotel is the price. Dont be fooled by the grand facade, the lobby is on the basement, and our room next to the reception, just after the electrical facility room. No coffee in the room.

Lovely building

Liked: Lovely old building. Helpful front desk. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Valet parking only. Not a good location for walking to the Riverside.

Awesome Location; Friendly Staff; But Pricey

Liked: The best was the location and the staff, really nice people. Breakfast was good too.
Disliked: For the price, it is not good that breakfast is not included (it is a pricey room). Similarly, for the price, the bathroom was outdated and the conditioner was empty and the toilet paper super thin/rough (and I am only mentioning this because, again, for the price, this is the type of thing you should not encounter). From the pictures, I also thought the place was fancier, with a larger bar/restaurant area; while it is not "small," it is definitely not the high-end place I thought.
