The Nook on Piedmont Park

A lot of the Atlanta area is pretty hilly, so if you're planning to get out and about on foot to take in the sights, make sure you've packed comfortable footwear.

What's the best way to get to Piedmont Park?

Both Midtown and Arts Center MARTA stations are within a few blocks of Piedmont Park. Visitors are encouraged to take public transportation to events here.

If you're staying at one of the hotels near Piedmont Park, you can probably walk easily to your event, and venue management also encourages cycling.

You can also drive (although management encourages you not to) and with a location just a mile away from Downtown Atlanta, it's pretty easy to find.

Does the venue have WiFi?

Yes! There is on-site access to free public WiFi networks.

Is there any parking?

There is very limited parking in the vicinity. The SAGE parking lot (operated by Atlanta Botanical Garden) has some spaces, and there are other parking lots in the area with limited space. At the SAGE parking lot, prices run from $1 up to $15 depending on the length of your stay.

How much is food and drink in the venue?

Piedmont Park has its own Park Tavern. There you can expect to pay from $9 upwards for a sandwich and from $7 for a glass of wine. Park Tavern also offers some limited draft beers for $1 when it rains. Hey, beer can make the weather seem better!

Any other important information I should know?

Piedmont Park is a beautiful, natural location for events and the management wants to keep it that way. There is no glass allowed inside the park at any time and while you are permitted to bring alcohol in for some events, you should check the specifics of your particular event before arriving.
