Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Midtown/Peachtree at 17th

Good place to stay!

Liked: Everyone! Every employee we spoke with was helpful and kind and they were all in a great mood. They seemed to enjoy their work in the 'customer service' industry!
Disliked: No restaurant; but great suite with stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, etc., so we took a short walk.

Liked: I loved the hotel, staff and service; my family and I were very pleased.

A nice place to stay

Disliked: Paid more for parking than hotel charged. Valet told us to park in the lot next to them. Paid $40 bucks but when exiting, saw sign that parking at hotel was $15 a day.

Passable

Liked: When arriving to the property we were greeted by a very nice employee whom showed us where we could park and how to get around the current renovations. the new renovations are very nice.
Disliked: I requested a crib when booking, but when I arrived to the property, I asked for the crib to be continuously put off by an employee at the front desk saying they were looking for one and when/if they found one they would bring it up.

The stay was nice clean...

Liked: The breakfast was nice.
Disliked: The parking price and no pool. The couch was hard and not good to sit in.

Exceptional

Liked: Ease of check in, no traffic, secluded, safe feeling location
Disliked: Clean but definitely needs that renovation it's working on. Keep up the good work.

Overall a good experience.

Liked: Front desk and valet parking employees very professional and eager to help
Disliked: Hot water was only lukewarm warm. Very uncomfortable in the shower.

Somewhat disappointing, but in a...

Liked: Great location- walkable to the art museum and several local businesses
Disliked: Lukewarm friendliness of staff, misrepresented the cost of self-parking nearby vs valet. Currently doing construction, so the "included breakfast" was mostly a cold bar with some single serve hot sandwiches.. a little sad corner display in the lobby area. Some time in the early morning, construction sounds shook the walls and become quite noticeable. If it had been more clear all of these things were true, I would likely have stayed in other places nearby that had a similar price point.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location, very comfortable room, nice gym, and excellent breakfast.
