If you plan to spend the day in LA before heading to your concert, you'll be spoilt for choice for things to do.

Very much a "must do," for those visiting the city is grabbing a photo of the infamous Hollywood Sign. You cannot get right up to the sign, which is fenced off and monitored by security cameras, but you can catch a great glimpse and get your simply-must-share-on-Instagram photos from a number of places around the city. Walking around taking pictures won't cost a thing.

Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory hosts regular space related exhibits and offers visitors the chance to take in the cosmos through some impressive telescopes. Admission is free, unless you want to take in a show in the incredible planetarium, which costs $7.

A perfect place to see any live show.

Liked: It was great!
Disliked: Not enough signs to let you know where to go once you are in the venue. When leaving, not sure which way to go to your pick up destination.

It was an absolutely beautiful, perfect evening with a huge moon shining on us. What could be better than the largest natural amphitheater in our country, fabulous entertainment on a gorgeous night? Nothing, and it can only occur at the Hollywood Bowl in October, or any other time of the year you happen to be there.

Liked: We were sitting in the POOL area of the bowl and felt as thought we were in the show, we were so close to the performers.
Disliked: The two girls who moved from seats behind us to seats directly in front of us. They never sat down down for a second during the entire concert!

Went to see Motley Crue Final Tour. The sound engineer needs some training bad. I've been to a few concerts at the bowl and the sound at this one was far inferior. Overall it was a blast and I would highly recommend the bowl as a concert venue. Be prepared for some hill walking though.

Liked: Everything else.
Disliked: Sound engineering was poor.

We had such fun and met so many new friends at the Bowl!

Liked: Beautiful event put on by our wonderful boss Hugh Hefner!
Disliked: Seats for group of Playboy Bunnies was not very good - we'd like to get better seats next year - we could not see stage.

It was my first time at the Hollywood Bowl and I was fortunate to see Barbra Streisand. She puts on a fantastic concert with great guests including her son and sister - and the Bowl was the place to see her. Enjoyed it all and the shuttle was definitely the way to go!

Liked: Awesome concert with great acoustics.

Getting to the concert and leaving was terrible, there seemed to be a lack of experience in traffic control. Lack of taxi's to take you home, they seem to only be interested in long trip customers and not very friendly.

Liked: Rod Stewart was GREAT
Disliked: Traffic coming and going was BAD
