While we enjoyed the concert, we found it very difficult to get to and from the venue using Uber. The service inside the concert was also slow, but it was a very packed event which could have caused the delays.
Liked: The concert performance was great.
Disliked: The ease of getting to and from the venue.

Stellar night; highlights - opener, Cold rain and snow; loved Paul Simon's "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes"... Bird Song> Bertha> Bird Song to end the first half. Great night.
Liked: It's always a pleasure to sit with 15,000 of our best friends and groove to Bobby and the boys.

Liked: Being front row!
Disliked: Being stuck in the men's restroom for an hour due to bad weather.
Bobby, Virginia Beach
Great staff; great location.
Liked: Parking; security.
Disliked: Prices of drink and food.
Liked: Great music.
Disliked: Beer is very expensive.
Liked: Eric Church was awesome!
Disliked: Ran out of rental chairs and the prices were outrageous. Every food truck there ran out of food!
Once inside, the food and drink prices felt as if we were being raped! The entertainer had a $4 can of beer special. The other cans of the same size from the venue were $11.50! A 16 oz liquor drink was $11.50, a double was $17.00. Although an excellent selection, prices were outrageous! We had undercover reserved seating but we don't feel the venue is sloped as well as it could be. Once the people in front of us stood, we could not see anything which was very disappointing, not even the large screens!
Liked: Easy access for cab transportation and handicapped; good choice of concessions, etc.
Disliked: Prices inside venue and reserved seating views.

Doors opening past the time on the ticket is not acceptable. Doors should have opened at twelve but actually opened at about twelve thirty causing major, confusing lines to get in. No staff around to direct it. Sound system was excellent but on punctuality, you bombed it.
Disliked: Sorry, not enough staff to handle a major draw like Farm Aid.

Engines at the ready. Walnut Creek Amphitheatre is six miles southeast of Raleigh. Once here, you'll be rewarded with plenty of options - the place was called one of the "Top 10 Tastiest Towns in the South" by Southern Living magazine.
Fancy place this ain't. So put away your shined shoes and, instead, relax in the homely surrounds where diners chomp on hearty meals like meatloaf with mashed potato, corn nuggets, and deviled eggs.
Fresh, zesty salads and steaming bowls of aromatic curry might make you want to backpack across Laos. Or else, you know, just come back to this place. Get set for dishes ranging from the stir fried cashew ginger chicken and lemongrass fried trout, to veggie options like the pumpkin curry.
Vegetarians rejoice. The idea of delicious meat alternatives holds true across a menu which includes the Eastern North Carolina-style barbecue pulled 'pork', and the Nori rolls with sashimi tofu.
North Carolina Museum of Art
Nurture your inner culture-vulture at this expansive museum which includes one of the country's largest collections of Rodin sculptures. And, in case you're wondering, it's free, except for some special exhibitions and programs.
Videri Chocolate Factory
Got a sweet tooth? This factory-cum-shop demonstrates how its many products are made as guests nibble samples such as the pink peppercorn chocolate bar and strawberry anise ganache.
Raleigh Flea Market
Could be junk, could be a one-off treasure. Put your antique-appraising skills to the test at this lively market - a fun place to spend a couple of hours poking around furniture, arts and crafts, and wrought iron.
Head along I40 (exit number 300) or I440 (exit number 15). The amphitheatre is just a few miles from the city of Raleigh. Legend has it, you want to get to the exit point at least an hour before the show start time - if not, traffic battles lie ahead.
Parking is included in the price of your ticket. Having said that, if you want to cut down on walking, you could go for premier parking for $20.
'Dining al fresco', 'eating on the ground'...whatever you want to call it, picnics are the way to go. There will also be vendors selling alcoholic drinks, along with hot snacks should you fancy something extra.
It varies per concert - check your individual ticket.
Events go ahead rain, shine or indecisive drizzle. Since half of the venue isn't undercover, we'd recommend bringing blankets, low sitting lawn chairs, and the high-fashion item that is the rain poncho.
