The Pinnacle Bank Arena is situated right next to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the heart of the city, so you won't have trouble finding things to do or places to indulge in food and drink both before and after the event.
University of Nebraska State Museum
Hobnob with the mastodons and woolly mammoths at the University of Nebraska State Museum. Featuring everything from prehistoric fossils to towering skeletons, the natural history of Nebraska will get you looking differently at the region, and will make you appreciate how far we've come.
Museum of American Speed
For a higher octane adventure, hurry over to the Museum of American Speed, where you'll find over 135,000 square feet of racing history. From classic cars to gutted engines and parts, you'll get an up-close look into the evolution of race cars. This museum is only open on weekdays, so plan accordingly.
Nebraska State Capitol
Featuring classical and gothic influences, and spread out over 15 floors, the Nebraska State Capitol is where the big decisions in the state are made. Ride to the top of the tower for dizzying views of the city, explore the rotunda, and take in the impressive fresco-style murals.
When the weather is warm, set some time aside to stroll through the Sunken Gardens. With over 30,000 individual plants in the gardens, you'll find everything from tulips to white blossoms. Keep your eyes open for visiting art exhibitions, or simply have a picnic here in one of the most highly regarded public gardens in the world.
Located in the historic Haymarket district just a 10-minute walk from the arena, Doc's Place is an institution. Locals gather here for live music, art walks, and of course to celebrate after a big win with a martini, local draft, or mixed drink.
Bread & Cup
Just around the corner from the arena, Bread & Cup will warm your belly with fresh bread, pork belly sandwiches, kale salads, and other such fare. There's a meal that's right for every time of the day and every person at the table.
Brewsky's Food & Spirits
For a bustling atmosphere and a menu that's much more than typical bar and grill fare, you can't go wrong at Brewsky's Food & Spirits, just a 5- to 10-minute walk from the arena. You'll find many different kinds of steak on the menu, melts, salads, wings, and all kinds of beer to get you in the mood or to celebrate after the big event.
It gets cold in Nebraska, so make sure to pack plenty of layers in case you're lined up next to the arena before doors open - and for when you're wondering, "Why are there not more underground, sheltered tunnels in this city?"
There's a bus service to 8th & Q Streets, which are just a short walk away from the arena. You can also take a bus to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; the western edge of the campus is about a 10-minute walk away from the arena.
The Festival Parking lot is just north of the arena; prices depend on the event, so it can vary between $3 and $10. There's also a garage attached to the arena, for premium seating ticket holders only.
You'll find everything from Philly fries and cheeseburgers to veggie burgers, paninis, and even gluten-free options at the 73 vendors in the Pinnacle Bank Arena. And of course there's plenty of domestic beer too. You can expect to pay around $5 for a pizza, $4 for a hotdog, and $7 to $9 for beer.
There sure is, and it's free.
Doors open 1 hour prior to the event.

We would go see her again! Pinnacle did an excellent job hosting her.
Liked: P!nk put on an excellent show!
Disliked: Seating was mixed up, but that was minor.

Concert was good - concession food was pretty good. Shirts were hard to find in certain sizes at the different concession stands.
Liked: We had great seats so we could see the concert perfectly - others may have some poles etc. in their line of view.
Disliked: As in any arena - there are never enough women's bathrooms. Parking is limited to parking ramps.

The ribs were awesome and the weather was perfect this year on Saturday!
Liked: The RibFest was fun. Great venue every year. Liked the new location.
Disliked: It was quite a hike over the bridge and then the steps. Would be nice to have rides from the Haymarket area to the Ribfest. Also, if you left the event and wanted to come back, you had to pay again. Should only have to pay once per day.
