We had our wedding here on 8/8/09. Vendors began arriving about 2:30pm for our 6pm reception and there was no air conditioning. We were told that they were a green facility and they do not turn the A/C on until the guests arrive. Later we find out there was an A/C problem that they were aware of but did nothing to fix. It was 85 degrees inside!!! We had guests who were leaving because it was so hot, our cake was melting and we had to ask them to bring out fans to try and cool things down. The owner initially told us the building had been struck by lightning and fried the units but later changed his story and admitted that he never called a company because he did not have the money to do so!! One of our guests worked in HVAC and he actually went up on the roof and it turns out that had they called a company when the problem started, it could have been fixed in 20 minutes allowing plenty of time to cool the room before my 200 guests arrived. Whether you are thinking of this venue for a business event or wedding, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!!!

Burton Manor is absolutely beautiful. You get what you pay for. Burton Manor's associates are wonderful to work with. My company has been holding our events there twice a year for about 10 plus years now. I am having my wedding reception there this year!!!! The decor is well maintained. There is plenty of room for your guests, and the meals are wonderful. There is just so much to say about this location. You must consider Burton Manor as a location for your event!!! You will not be sorry.
