Definitely Not Value for Money

Liked: The location was excellent. The room was on the small size, but clean, with a decent bathroom and surprisingly quiet with regard to traffic noise and noise from other guest, though we were on the 22nd Floor.
Disliked: We paid extra and booked a ‘River View’ but had the same view as the ‘City View’. When we told reception about the mix-up they said that a river view meant we were on a higher floor and that none of the rooms really has a view of the river.The room had no cupboard, no drawers and no shelves which makes staying there for longer than one night uncomfortable. Neither does it have a safe in the room which is inconvenient. Whilst outside noises, i.e. from other guests and traffic was minimal the noise from the air conditioning unit was horrendous and made for 3 disturbed nights.Breakfast was disgusting and expensive for what it was. We ordered sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs and tater tots. It arrived in a cardboard box, lukewarm and congealed.
