The hotel was comfortable, easy to access and within a short cab ride ($15) of E.J. Thomas Hall. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food is is wonderful and only surpassed by the breathtaking view of the snow covered, icicle ladened, partially frozen, running river that can be seen out of the many windows. The wine selection is plentiful (had the Smith and Hook Cabernet). Our experience was less than grand due to some unsightly carpet stains in the bedroom. Overall, I believe this facility could benefit greatly with some upkeep maintenance. We will return.

Disliked: None really other than petty things, such as it would be nice to have a couple of hooks on the wall in the bathroom and sink area to hang clothes and other items on for convenience.

Liked: The front desk staff was welcoming and the valet... noticed I left my phone in the car and hurried it back into the hotel to me. I don't know his name, but that truly impressed me.The bed and shower were amazing!
Disliked: The toilet flush was so loud and forceful... scary the first time used. Woke my partner every time it was flushed during the night!I would have appreciated notice online that the hotel is currently under construction and that the hot tub is permanently closed.
