Nice stay but not so...

Liked: The hotel has a nice swimming pool and it is on the beach. There are some restaurants inside that are quite good. Moreover, the staff was quite friendly. The hotel has a shuttle to go to the city center which is quite convenient.
Disliked: The room was not very clean and we found some insects in the toilet. The price is also quite high.

Disliked: Small pool. No breakfast included

Very good

Liked: Check in and out was very easy and staff were very friendly, rooms were nicely renovated, great place to watch sunsets and collect sand dollars, parking was convenient and included. State park is next door and a great place to fish. Enjoyed musician by the pool.
Disliked: Although this property is located on the beach, it is a long walk to the beach so if you forget something in your room, it is a long walk back and forth, hot tub is small.

Not what I expected for...

Liked: Old bar soap left from previous guest
Disliked: Staff wasn’t nice or timely

Liked: The beach was too far from location. The photo that is shown on the website is deceiving.
Disliked: It was too expensive for the location because there others closer to the beach and cheaper. I will never stay in your hotel.

The Customer service by all...

Liked: All hotel personnel were extremely courteous. From front desk to facilities to housekeeping and entire restaurant (both) staff. I would highly recommend (and have) Sand Key as the place to stay while in Clearwater. However please also see comments on “ dislikes”
Disliked: The parking fee for guests was totally bogus. A 7 day stay at current room rates should be sufficient- it needs to end.Phone did not work- the patio door lock was broken and safety bar missing. Both curtain rod connections broke off during stay. All Minor inconveniences however the quick response and professional manner in which all issues were addressed was impressive. In addition the closing mechanism of room doors needs adjusting-doos were constantly slamming.
