I will definitely use this hotel for all my stays in Cherokee.

Liked: Was very clean place; convenient to Harrah's Casino.

Disliked: The fact that you can't smoke on the balcony is ridiculous but you can smoke out front where people have to walk by you to get to their rooms.

Disappointing

Liked: The cleanliness of the property was nice. We went out for the day and housekeeping came by and replaces towels, soaps and anything that needed replacing.
Disliked: The staff was a whole mood killer. From the beginning, we just felt like we weren’t welcomed. We got there around 12:15pm and went to check in and the lady behind the desk (Crystal) told me rudely that check in was at 3pm. I told her that I seen that and I requested an early check in and it went completely ignored and she rudely told me again “check in is at 3pm. So your room will be ready at 3pm”. We left and went to Maggie Valley to the truck show they were having and came back a little after 3pm and was able to check in (different people up front). The next morning we went down to the continental breakfast and Crystal was down, I guess finishing up setting breakfast. My boyfriend and I put the waffle mix in the waffle maker and it kept beeping, but I couldn’t get it to flip. Crystal says from across the room “you have to flip it” in an annoyed voice. To this point, I was over this woman. We checked out Sunday morning and she was working the front desk, but was actually nice and told me thank you for staying - but that was the nicest she had been the whole time we were there.

Disliked: Website said inside pool. Only outside. Also said it had a gift shop. Didn't have one.

Liked: The motel exceeded our expectations, staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The location is very close to the casino and sights but private and quiet. The breakfast area had a great variety of breakfast items, fresh coffee, juice, fruit and anything else you would want. The staff continuously replaced food as it was taken.
Disliked: The place was perfect for our girls weekend
