Superb

Liked: Perfect location - very close to the bus station so you can go to any mountain you want. Breakfast was excellent - they've rotated it every day.

Great stay at an iconic...

Liked: Charming with many amenities and a friendly staff. Very close to Afton lifts (3 block walk) and the buses to other resorts (1 block)
Disliked: Generally it was great and well kept/refurbished. Had the charms and quirks of an older property with a few pops and creaks during the night.

Charming chalet

Liked: A ramshackle, but very charming place. Staff are super friendly. Arrived on Monday where they have a fondue night with the locals.

Aspen Gem

Liked: I was skeptical booking at Mountain Chalet. I didn’t expect much for the low cost, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was bigger than I expected. There was a large dresser with many drawers to organize your clothes as well as a hanging closet with plentiful hangers. There was also a huge flat screen tv and a fridge. For a 1954 building, it had usb ports and lots of outlets for charging. The breakfast was pretty amazing and we were there for the last Monday apres ski at the bar. We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi and relaxing our muscles in the hot sauna. The afternoon cookies were pretty amazing too. And they also have underground parking. The Rubey Park transit center is right next door and it’s only a 3 minute walk to Ajax!
Disliked: The building is old and makes some noises. The plumbing can be quite loud. Definitely recommend ear plugs. The steam room was out of order.

Liked: The place was stunning, it had such a lovely and charming atmosphere, really splendid.
Disliked: One could tell it is not the newest hotel, but it didn't matter, cause it had in general a very cozy and charming vibe.

Smells like a head body...

Liked: The location
Disliked: This place it’s the WORST hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The smell in the room was absolutely horrible it will keep you up all night. Please do yourself a favor and book somewhere else if you want to have a decent not smelly night.
