A must stay

Liked: The room was fantastic and whimsical. All the staff from the bar, spa, check in and restaurants were so friendly and accommodating. The danishes and cake were very yummy ! Everything was clean and quiet. The pool was very nice to lay at. The pink cloud drink was a must try! And you can’t beat the views .
Disliked: The only thing disappointing thing is they cancelled my massage last minute due to a sick call. It was very disappointing as we were only there for one night and drove 4 hours to get there. Although I know you never plan to be sick - I would maybe hope in the future they can have a back up plan/staff for sick calls especially on a busy weekend. The staff did their best to make right with a gift card and a goody bag. I did not catch the girls name but she did go over and beyond to try and rectify the situation. Greatly appreciated . I probably would have rated the property a 10 if it weren’t for this event.

We had a fun time!

Liked: It is beautiful and I see why it is a destination for many! Our rooms were decorated adorably. The pool is great and so warm for a chilly night! We loved hearing the frogs croak while swimming.
Disliked: There is a lot that is dated. The sink plugs didn’t work so we had to take them out. The carpet could probably use a replacement. Some of the furnishings seemed a bit worn and could probably be updated. I also have to say that the café was ridiculously overpriced.

Liked: Unusual, but not amazing
Disliked: Paper thin walls, could hear every single word from next door. Every damned word. Ridiculous, regardless how old the place is. Particularly odd after being instructed, in no uncertain terms by the front desk czar, that under no circumstances are parties permitted, no loud noises, no this, no that. And oh yes, we have no tv service.
