This is my second stay...
Liked: Check in was easy, and room service staff were great! I love the Morton brand restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel property.

Good location to get downtown
Liked: Convenient to metro and Woodmont Avenue restaurants. Staff was very efficient. Thumbs up for Zoe at the desk. I did reserve a balcony but none were available at check-in. The room we received was still comfortable.
Disliked: Bit of a nit pick but the pillows were too soft for me. Perhaps have one soft, one firm.

Great location, great value
Liked: Location was awesome. We enjoyed the perks of snacks on arrival and chocolate chip cookies on departure.
Disliked: They were unable to extend our stay because we did not book directly on their website, but had used Booking.com. The staff member indicated there were rooms available at our rate, but when we attempted to book it was triple the price. We are staying to care for someone at Suburban hospital and he needed more time there so we were hoping to extend.

Superb
Liked: That staff was helpful and nice. The location can't be beat, right next to the metro, lots of dining choices, and the room was clean.

Charged for smoking in room...
Liked: The facilities were pleasant enough.
Disliked: After checking in after a long day of driving, we learned the staff had cancelled one of our two rooms. After approximately thirty minutes, they came up with another room for us but the two rooms were not close together. Most importantly, days after getting home we learned we were billed $500 for "smoking" in one of our rooms. When we reached out to the hotel, they provided a "Rest" system smoke report that supposedly detected smoking within the room for about forty minutes one evening. This unequivocally, absolutely did not happen. Two adults and two small children occupied the room, and none of them smoke or vape in any fashion. The sensor is either inaccurate or this is a scam. We contacted the hotel and the staff was totally dismissive, recommending we dispute the $500 charge with our credit card. I looked into this "Rest" smoke detection technology, and it allegedly provides real time data to hotels when smoking is occurring in one of their rooms. If the hotel had immediately followed up on this alleged detection, they would have found everyone resting in the room - and zero evidence of any smoking/vaping have occurred. We are now forced to fight this $500 charge, and we are furious. Stay at your own risk.
