A decent option when you...

Liked: The hotel was available when we needed it. Also, the room was very good considering the renovations happening around. We also liked the breakfast prepared for us.
Disliked: I selected to pay for the 2 rooms at the hotel for the $320 CAD shown in the offer. Instead I was automatically charged $365.30 CAD that was the fee if I wanted to pay in advance using Booking.com. I believe I should get a refund of $45.30 CAD because that was not my choice of payment.

Far better than the ratings

Liked: We were traveling on a budget and this motel had an ok rating so we took it. It was far better than the rating of 7.1 with clean rooms, good beds and linens and upgraded towels. They were not cheap in just leaving two towels in a room for 2, but 4, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was the usual, but actually for the cost of the motel, was quite good.
Disliked: We had to completely turn off the heater/AC unit. Actually we had to unplug it as it went on and off and clicked so loudly that we were unable to sleep. So, being too tired to sort out actually getting it to stay off, after two tries and up and down, we unplugged it. The next morning, we plugged it in and let the room warm up.

Disliked: Walls had mold but bed was comfortable.
