If they want to attract...

Liked: The house has character.
Disliked: It is way to far from things to do. Rooms are exceptionally small which I anticipated. The online profile of looks and reality are far from each other.

The room gave a historical...

Liked: I enjoyed the location. It was enough out of the Jackson square French Quarter area to enjoy less hectic night life. There were cafes, restraurants , and bars/ music venues near the hotel. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the local resident interactions. The area felt safe and it was only 15 minute stroll to Jackson Square. The room was on the smaller side but had more than enough space for me. The decor of the room and house lended a historical charm. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The downstrairs common areas were lovely and offered board games, coffee (keriug pods) and tables to eat your to go meals. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to enjoy New Orleans without having to be bombarded by the French Quarter night life. The location offers ease of access to the central quarter, while remaining removed enough to allow a truer local experience of the area. I felt truly blessed to have been able to last minute book this hotel on the holiday weekend.
Disliked: I never had contact with any staff and was unsure how check out worked. I had no idea how to reach someone regarding any questions or requests. I don't know if there are rooms on ground floor levels. I would not recommend for people unable to take stairs and the stairs are steep and narrow. Any heavy luggage will count as a workout manuvering up and down the stairs.

If this is what it's...

Liked: OK location. Reasonably quiet. Room big enough; good fan and air. Kitchen useful.
Disliked: Very disappointed that the single window was frosted so zero view. Even a brick wall would've been nicer. Room cost far too much to accept this kind of space. At least should've had a street or garden view.

I’ve stayed there before, and...

Liked: The ambiance and positive energy. Jen Lee was very familiar to me prior to my arrival. After a day, I became I’ll , and she did her best within her means to allow me to recuperate after taking my prescriptions, needing rest prior to check out. Of course I was charged an additional fee once or twice, but I couldn’t possibly left immediately, considering I was under medication with extreme side effects. I thank Jen for her immediate attention. However, I hope to be back as long as they’ll have me.
Disliked: My room was adjacent to the court yard.

Charming and clean place although...

Liked: Location was great. Nice restaurants, breakfast place and bars in the same corner. 5 min walk to Frenchmen street. The common Balcony surroundljud by blooming orange trees was super nice! Also common pentry with coffee and a lounge area was great. The just met us and helped with entering although that was not promised. Room is charming, but very small.
Disliked: The room was clean, except under the bed Where there was an old pair of sweatpants. Some other guest opened the door to our room in the middle of the night, so it appears to be the same code to the rooms! There was only two hangers in the closet. Bed is old and not so comfortable. The Window was almost completely blocked by the AC and 2/3 covered with opaque film so you could barely see out. Would be nice to see more of the sky even though there was no view.
