Good Hotel in Bronx close...

Liked: Moving to this hotel from a 4-star in Manhattan, it was a pleasantly surprising to find better amenities, slightly bigger room, better aesthetics & better service.Close to 2 subway lines it is easy to reach the Manhattan area easily.
Disliked: Breakfast spread can be improved with some eggs options.

Good staff and facilities, but...

Liked: All staff we met were pleasant and helpful. Having free drinking water on tap was great, though you have to go down to the lobby to get it. The room was very nice with comfy beds and air-con, and having a mini-fridge was handy. Unfortunately no kettle, but a coffee machine which was still good to have. The breakfast was decent. Conveniently close to the subway.
Disliked: Unfortunately the room had quite thin walls; we could hear basically everything going on in the adjoining rooms (TVs, phones vibrating and blinging). Other noise included water running coming from the ceiling in the evening after around 11, the loud elevator bell, and a few floors below the window was an outdoor area which played very loud music some days, making it difficult to relax in the afternoon/evening on those days.
