Superb

We love this place. The...

Liked: The crab boil pot, the daily maid service if needed.
Disliked: No where to sit down and relax.. daybed, queen bed, big tub. The dinner table has high like a bar stool so really no place to relax other than to sit outside on the porch... place was very clean and everyone was very nice.

4 out 10. Mad about...

Liked: Loved the location it was very close to the ocean and there were a lot of good restaurants there and some amazing doughnut places there!! The cabins were clean and cozy..
Disliked: Well I took my dogs they didn't say anywhere that u couldn't leave dogs unattended. I got there at end of paper work says don't leave dogs unattended at anytime u will be fined and any damages u will pay for but can't leave dogs unattended at all.. I paid 258.00 just for dogs from 25-28 I should be able to leave my dogs w out fear for being asked to leave I get if my dog did damages yes I will pay for that but u charge me that much and I couldn't go to dinner nothing had to take dogs w us the whole time wont be going back nice place but I need to be able to leave my dogs if I want to also if u want to make noise well they are strict! So be fair wrarned. Also I was not happy the people before us had a big dog and NO ONE CLEANED UP THAT dogs crap had to walk around that the whole weekend they never came to clean it up and I made sure to pick up all my dogs poop and put it all in the garbage.

Exceptional

Liked: The beach was right across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I didn't like how close the other cabins were. You open the curtains and you can see right into the next person's living room.

Location is good, but others...

Liked: Location is good. Front desk people are friendly if you could see them.
Disliked: I was in one of those cabins. WiFi is so bad. My devices, no matter phones or pads, could never connect. Shower run out of hot water so quick. Mugs still have coffee stain left over and obviously have not been cleaned. No front desk person available during office hours when I needed some help. Parking space for each cabin is so small.

Exceptional

Had a great time, would...

Liked: Good location, it was within walking distance of town. Very clean, and staff was very courteous and nice. Asked for extra pillows for comfort. They were delivered with in the hour. Jet tub was a great plus.
Disliked: Toilet in #4 was a little low, made it uncomfortable for taller people. Kinda tight for larger vehicles to move around. Would be nice if cabin numbers would be available on a map diagram online.

Functionally good enough, but way...

Liked: The location of the hotel is nice, withing walking distance to downtown or the nearby beach at halfmoon bay.
Disliked: The "cabin" and "cottages" are more like tiny homes than they are anything else. Construction was still ongoing around us at all times so it's evident these are being built themselves. Every bed and couch was uncomfortably worn down to nothing, the couch was stained beyond belief and the beds were absurdly loud with creeks and groans as you rollover or get down/up. The wifi was not functional the whole time we were there and they've packed these houses in so close to one another that we kept our blinds closed at all times. I've seen trailer camping spots with more outdoor space.
