Liked: The staff and rooms were fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing.

I will stay there again even though there were those mishaps.

Liked: Booked hotel for a treat as was near concert venue and shops. Room was great as was breakfast.
Disliked: We arrived at the hotel to be told our booking had been cancelled. I booked the room with a credit card guarantee. However, when the card expired I should have received an email to prompt me to update the card to guarantee the booking. This was never received and so the booking was cancelled. Luckily a room was available. I also forgot to pick up my phone charger from my room before departure. It was not until I got home I realised it was missing. I telephoned the hotel and was told nothing had been handed in when it was quite clear that I had left it in the room so was obviously binned. I would have been prepared to pay the postage. The woman on the phone was the same woman at check-in and was quite rude.

Really friendly staff. We were in a Family Deluxe room which was a great size and really perfect for a family of 4. However our sofa bed wasn't made up when we returned from an afternoon out. Receptionist advised housekeeping but when we returned from dinner it still wasn't made up. Receptionist (Amy, really good receptionist) came.

Liked: Staff and accomodation.
Disliked: Nothing bad - just a small mistake around sofa bed but fixed. Also when I emailed to inform of late arrival I never received an acknowledgement and my friend also had difficulty getting through on the phone to advise of our even later arrival and ended up walking down to hotel. But once there remarked back on how nice the staff were.

Liked: The service from staff.

Could improve on their food.

Liked: Very grand; location perfect.
Disliked: Very few tea and coffee facilities; very tight on their biscuits; noisy corridor; very small room; cold room.
