Would not return.

Liked: The most disgusting room we got out in first of all then I had to pay for upgrade and was told nothing to do with them because I booked through booking.com in the end I payed £220 for this room and the upgrade which was not much better.
Disliked: The staff was unhelpful and very over charged

Liked: The fountain was a nice feature. Hotel decoration was nice.
Disliked: We had a nice room, and comfortable bed, but no A/C and the room was very warm. The window was open as we tried to cool down, but the traffic was noisy. It was very uncomfortable during the night and we didn’t sleep well

Disliked: Silver fish on the floor, dust everywhere, toilet didn’t flush.

Liked: Looks good and has very good facilities. Nice dining area and bars, gardens etc. Liam was caring and seemed friendly and showed genuine concern when I reported my mum had two glass cuts.
Disliked: Some tired looking bathroom walls and fixtures. Glass on floor of corridors and bedrooms- three of our party had injuries from glass cuts and it was concerning the attitude of the manager when reporting this- she said she was not on duty the previous day so couldn't comment on the matter. Nobody took the details of the injured person or filled an accident report! I think this was poorly handled. Poor supply of towels, pillows and robes. Basics in a hotel. Very poor lighting which likely contributed to the glass cuts, you could not see the carpet in corridors and many older guests struggled to get around. Could offer teapots and coffee pots for guests as we waited too long for service.
