Good

Liked: Easy access to the city.
Disliked: It was hot in the room. The shared bathroom started clean but was disgusting by morning. Too expensive for what it offered.

great spot to crash for...

Liked: Room was clean, bathroom facilities were very clean
Disliked: my room had a small access door to some inner chamber of the roof, and I was unable to keep that door closed

Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Poor

Liked: The front desk staff are very helpful and welcoming. A $10 preloaded laundry card is provided upon request free of charge.
Disliked: 1. I wouldn't suggest staying here if you have a car. Street parking is challenging as many are limited to 1-2 hours on weekdays. The only parking available is the tiny roundabout which is usually full. There's a big empty Dalhousie parking lot right by the accommodation, which we're not allowed to use... (I understand it's two separate universities but it seems like they share courses and Wifi? Then why not parking if it's not school term yet?) 2. Even if you've booked it on Booking.com, you still need to fill out a form containing the basic information by pen and paper once you've arrived. This has slowed down the check-in process for everyone.3. It's great to have universal bathrooms AS LONG AS THE FACILITY IS CAPABLE OF SUCH ARRANGEMENT. There is no floor to ceiling doors (the showers don't have doors at all, only curtains), and one of the doors for the bathtub would jam so it doesn't lock at all. It's not very clean either, the shower curtains have brown stains at the bottom. 4. Again, the rooms could use some cleaning... There's (hopefully just) food crumbs and hair on the desk when I checked in. I noticed the wipe caught a lot of dirt when I tried to clean it myself.

Bad

Disliked: The staff were not forthcoming about the late checkout charges and forced us to pay late checkout for being merely 15 min overtime. No proper explanation given too. Overall bad experience
