Town House Inn

This place was pretty easy to find, but it was a little less centrally located than I had assumed. It is a dingy, but it is not as bad as all the reviews make it out to be. I didn't experience rude customer service, but it wasn't above par either. It was cheap, and served it's purpose. This place is like vanilla ice cream, it's okay, but it's no one's favorite flavor.

Stayed for a concert, would stay again for sure. Got what I paid for - nothing exciting but served its purpose. Like most reviews, the bathroom was set up awkward but it was in working order. The staff didn't speak good english and we had to wait a while for someone at the front desk, but all in all it was a hotel that served its purpose.

Liked: Inexpensive; walking distance from everything.
Disliked: Water damage; smelled kinda musty; hard beds.

The worst experience booking a...

Liked: Nothing! The fact that they charged me and when I got there no cars were in the lot and nobody was in the office it was completely dark. I went to stay to visit with my daughter who goes to Oneonta and had to sleep in her dorm which was very inconvenient and they still have the audacity to charge me and I want my money refunded

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom door did not close all the way, The bathroom sink faucet was loose. there was no lightbulb in the lamp. was too noisy to get a good night sleep. There were homeless people running up and down the stairs all night yelling and screaming at each other.

Very Scary!!

Liked: The location was okay for our weekend event.
Disliked: The motel was obviously a rental property for DSS residents. It was FULL of what looked like previously homeless people. My sister and I were very uncomfortable each time that we walked to our car. We would have left the moment we checked in if the rest of the area still had any vacancies. I have used Booking.com many time before without any complaints but I would recommend that you remove this facility from your choices. It should not be considered a traveler’s accommodation!

Liked: It smelled bad right from the start. It was dirty the walls were dirty the toilet was dirty. The sheets on the bed done nice but it was very stinky. I slept in my car right outside the door of the room I rented.
Disliked: Everything could have been better.

Liked: It was convenient to Cooperstown where I was headed.
Disliked: The bed was terrible. I had a really hard time sleeping on it. The dresser was missing a drawer, it looked really ghetto.
