The Spotlight on The Wesley

Modern Comfort Just Minutes from London’s Music Scene

The Wesley is a modern, eco-conscious hotel located right next to Euston Station—one of London’s busiest and best-connected transport hubs. Sleek, stylish, and quietly sustainable, this hotel is a great base for concert-goers looking to blend comfort with convenience. With top attractions like Regent's Park and the British Museum just a short walk away, it’s also ideal for daytime exploring between gigs.

Why Concert-goers love it

You can’t beat the location: just a 2-minute walk from tube and bus connections, getting to and from gigs across the city is quick and hassle-free. Whether you're catching a show at Camden’s iconic venues or heading to the West End, you’ll be there in minutes. After the encore, return to a soundproofed room with air conditioning for a restful night. The 24-hour reception is ideal for late-night returns, and the Savannah bar stays open late for a post-show wind-down.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends wanting a central, easy-to-navigate base
  • Solo travelers on a bucket-list gig adventure
  • Couples turning a concert into a city break
  • Fans needing a quiet, comfy room to recover post-gig
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want quality and style

Food and Drink Options

The on-site Savannah Bar & Restaurant serves up an inventive mix of European, African, and Asian flavors—even late into the evening. There’s a separate snack menu in the bar and a solid selection of organic wines and craft beers. Room service is available if you’re recharging in your PJ’s. While there’s no mention of breakfast hours, the hotel’s relaxed vibe makes it a good bet for late risers.

Nightlife Options

While The Wesley itself doesn’t host live music, you're a short hop to legendary venues in Camden and Soho. Plus, the hotel bar is a chilled spot to share a drink and relive the night’s highlights. With great tube and bus links, you’re never far from London’s best nightlife.

What People Say

Guests love the location—being next to Euston Station makes getting around incredibly easy. Many appreciate the friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, and the hotel’s sustainable ethos. The Savannah Restaurant earns praise for its unique food and relaxed atmosphere.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that rooms can be compact, especially if you're traveling with lots of gear. A few have noted that the elevators can be a bit slow. But overall, these are minor trade-offs for such a central and convenient stay.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to London for a concert and want modern comfort, late-night flexibility, and unbeatable transport access, The Wesley hits the right note.

Could have been better

Liked: The cleanliness and location near Euston station was fantastic.
Disliked: The constant construction noise throughout the night disturbed my sleep and meant keeping window shut despite the heat. I liked the inclusion of a fan but also needed to turn that off overnight due to noise. Maybe earplugs as an addition to the room would help whilst construction ongoing? A bit more signage at breakfast would also help as was a bit confusing. The cutlery & crockery in separate places and no indication what type of milk was in the jug and whether any non dairy alternative was available. Hot food okay but slow to be replenished.

Good but expensive , location...

Liked: Very clean and presented well. Location was great, breakfast too expensive, there is a cafe on the same street at the top costing less than half price what the hotel was charging
Disliked: The room had a double bed but was booked for 2 singles, I was told the hotel was full and we could not change rooms. A single camp bed was put in the room taking up any space we had. The bed was comfortable though, Booked 2 months in advance so should not have happened, Staff was helpful when sorting it out

Liked: Location
Disliked: Help with my suitcase and a staff member to show me to my room and explain the layout of the hotel. No dressing table mirror. The only chair in the room was soiled. In my original booking I thought I had breakfast included, but that was not the case when I presented myself at the restaurant door. I went out for breakfast.
