Excellent stay if your looking...

Liked: Staff could not have been more attentive. Hotel looks and feels comfortable and of a high standard Greeting with a glass of wine was welcoming Lots of parking space
Disliked: My room did not have air conditioning which was disappointing and a little uncomfortable due yo the heat The hotel is dog friendly but having a self service breakfast means I could not see for myself exactly what was on offer so staff had to get it for me I was surprised the electric charge was not included in the price due to its high level of customer standard I was also surprised that there was limited TV channels, as a solo traveller I did not spend hours in the restaurant and relied on entertainment in my room

A lovely quiet, relaxing break...

Liked: Lovely and peaceful, with smart but casual feel. This made it very relaxing. The staff were very warm and friendly also very knowledgeable! The art collection is extensive and was fascinating, not expected which we really enjoyed. The wine of course was exceptional, we are not wine connoisseurs, and everything recommended was amazing, with a great range of prices. The food was incredible, everything is made there, even the burger buns! We made full use of the spa which was mostly empty - and the treatments were wonderful.
Disliked: Some of it is looking a little old fashioned, There is a lot of wine themed decor, which could do with a re-think, and the spa is also in need of a revamp, it was very clean, and well maintained - the space has great potential. There is also a main road nearby which you can’t hear from the rooms but when outside it was noticeable.
