Liked: This hotel is very centrally located in Leighton Buzzard, close to many eateries and shops. There's a Wetherspoon pub below the rooms and I can totally recommend the food and the service. Really good fish and chips and breakfast and the prices are great for England! Not strange that it was packed most of the days. Great atmosphere as well. Nice touch with the free coffee, tea and chocolate refills for the hotel clients. Also, I must add that I loved the display about Kajagoogoo in the upper floor of the pub, near the toilets. Being a fan, that was a nice surprise!The reception desk was empty when I arrived, but they came out when I called. The stairs till there (1st floor) are a bit steep, so beware with them (a friend fell one of the days). I think there's also a lift, but I didn't use it. The common areas were well maintained and decorated very Christmasy, which was lovely.The room was surprisingly huge for being a single, I definitely expected it a lot smaller. The bathroom was very big as well. The bed was very comfy and had a window next to it with views to Market Square. The room included a desk, chair, a TV (that I didn't use), a wardrobe, an iron and board, a folded structure for the luggage, two mirrors, phone, hair dryer, air con/heating, a kettle, complimentary tea, chocolate, coffee, biscuits and water. The decoration was tasteful and in blue colours, that I really love. The bathroom was very spacious, with a bath tub and shower. Also, a magnifying mirror, heated racks for the towels and dispensers of hand soap and shower gel/shampoo. In summary, a lovely hotel, much better than many in London and with a better price. I'll stay here again if I have to be back to Leighton Buzzard.
Disliked: The only negative was that the flush in the toilet worked really strangely and sounded like broken and not filling the tank. Thankfully, it took a while, but it worked, really slowly. That was my only problem in the room. And that it was a bit noisy outside at some points, but I sleep with earplugs, so not too bad.
