Unique History in a Beautiful...
Liked: We had a beautiful view from our room.It was super clean and well decorated. Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. We skied at Snowbird because Alta had closed for the season a week earlier. Very convenient to the ski slopes.
Disliked: The breakfast that was served was not their usual excellent hot breakfast. The hotel manager called us before our visit and explained what we could expect. Because Alta had just closed they had very low occupancy and could not fully staff a hot breakfast. The food was OK.

Liked: Great location and ease of access to Alta. The locker room and ski shop downstairs are exceptional. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Restaurant food was a little repetitive after 5 days

Liked: This is a fabulous property in an unbeatable location with gorgeous lobbies, spa and the best ski boot rooms I've ever seen
Disliked: Some rooms are noisy from facilities above Maintenance a little slack

disappointment with a room downgrade...
Liked: The hotel has a great location, you do not need to walk to the ski lift, it's right near the exit. We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tube with a view. Stylish, modern decor plus having a bar and a restaurant inside was an advantage for us.Many thanks go to Ella, who delivered hot boiled water every day w/o a reminder for our baby needs!
Disliked: Unfortunately, there were a big disappointment with a room and how the management handled the situation.1. Check inWe're checked in the deluxe king room which clearly wasn't suitable for stay. It had someone's clothes in a drawer, wet carpet near one side of the bed with weird odor and the only window was blocked by snow mass on 2/3. On our request they moved us to another room. It was a standard king and we're missing a bath tube and a coach that initially was planned for the baby.2. Communication on a manager levelAfter our room downgrade no one followed up with us. Before the check out my spouse talked to a manager and agreed on 20% off the room rate (as a refund for our pre-paid room) and dismiss of any fees on our balance. What was a surprise that it didn't happen! For a week we called 3 times and left messages without any call back. I think such customer relationship is not acceptable at 4 star hotel, do not recommend to stay here.
