Good stay - dog friendly.

Liked: Good clean room and dog friendly. Helpful host. Next to pub but quiet - pub closed Monday and no food but good beer.

Liked: That it was right next to the pub. Rooms were a good size.The staff were very good and allowed us to eat a takeaway in the pub as they didn't sell food.
Disliked: 1st room was freezing. We were put in another room and given a free drink in the pub (which wasn't that warm, unless right next to the fire), but that took a while to warm up and the radiators were on a timer and the extra heater wasn't really very good. No food being served in the pub, even at the weekend.

Liked: The peace and quiet....no disturbances from staff or other visitors.
Disliked: I found the curtain let in a lot of light and I felt thicker curtains would have alleviated this

Excellent value for money, great...

Liked: Was allowed to check-in earlier than the specified time. The room is lovely and spacious, well appointed and was a perfect place to stop off on my travels. I stopped for a drink (incredibly reasonably priced!) in the pub after a meal elsewhere - the service and hospitality was so friendly and welcoming. For the price, this place is incredible value for money. I would highly recommend to anyone. Dog friendly (no additional costs is great!)
Disliked: Only the spider I found in the bathroom - he wasn’t willing to share the cost of the room with me!

Clean, Comfortable, Cosy

Liked: I was travelling for an event and became ill. The owner was more than happy for me to check in early, which I greatly appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. And it had a bath which was a little bit of luxury.
Disliked: It wasn't a problem for me but if you are a light sensitive sleeper the emergency exit light above the door would have kept you awake.
