Liked: Great value. Good location.
Disliked: Several staff just didn’t seem welcoming or excited about being at work. Breakfast was nothing special. Lots of carbs for sure (bagels, bread, muffins, cereal, waffles, etc).

Superb

Liked: The rooms are big and clean. Good shower. The staff were really helpful - upgraded our rooms and also went to buy soy milk just for us in the morning.

Very good

Liked: Very well located for Hearst Castle and Big Sur visits. One block from the beach. Comfortable beds and very clean.
Disliked: Nothing much.

Great Stay

Liked: The location is great, very close to everything, which made it so convenient... The staff were awesome, friendly, and very informative... The hotel is very clean, although they do allow pets. You couldn't tell unless you have allergies, so be aware because my husband had bad allergies all weekend during our stay. The continental breakfast is just that, nothing special, but fresh and hot every morning and very clean... it was cold while in San Simeon but very fresh air, and the heater in the room warned it up quickly... We would stay here again... Oh, and there's plenty of parking...
Disliked: There is nothing bad about the hotel, but, I'm 65 and the people above us had no consideration for anyone, they were up at all hours of the night, it literally sounded like there were a couple of heavy animals running around the room throughout the night, it was had getting sleep... I wish people would have a little more consideration for others. They aren't at home. They are sharing a hotel with lots of other people...

One of our favorite towns...

Liked: Loved the location and ocean view. We were able to park and walk around the local town. Cambria was a short drive away and absolutely adorable!
Disliked: I wish the window was cleaned better on the outside. As the sunset it was extremely spotted (guessing from the salt water).
