A splendid place to stay...

Liked: Everything! Gorgeous garden; lovely dining room; spacious bedroom with dressing area and large bathroom. And the staff — absolutely Fantastic!! Could not have been more accommodating or more friendly. Stay here to be pampered. But … beware there are many stairs. There is an elevator but we did not see or use it.

Liked: Very pretty property with an abundance of character. Lovely gardens to enjoy a drink in. The rooms are characterful, and the food was nice at both dinner and breakfast. Some guests seemed to be experiencing delays in the evening in the restaurant - and we noticed they didn’t seem to have them handled with a great deal of empathy (staff a bit dismissive). BUT personally we had no issues.
Disliked: The room had a very low ceiling on one side making it difficult to move around. But it was a nice stay. I’d still recommend it.

Liked: A beautiful, quaint and charming hotel. All staff members were friendly and professional. We were well taken care of. The morning breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The dining area is in a bright conservatory with beautiful views of the inner courtyard gardens. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Decorated in an eclectic way. Everything is within walking distance including bus and train stationsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
